Eligibility Criteria & Admission Requirements
To secure a seat in the GNM diploma program at Jupiter College of Nursing, candidates must meet the following criteria set by the Karnataka Nursing Council (KNC) and INC:
Eligibility Guidelines
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10+2 / II PUC or equivalent from any recognized board (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or NIOS).
- Minimum Marks: Minimum 40% aggregate marks in 10+2 (35% for SC/ST candidates of Karnataka domicile).
- Stream Flexibility: While Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) is preferred, candidates from Arts, Commerce, or Health Care Vocational streams with English are fully eligible.
- Age Criteria: Minimum 17 years completed on or before December 31 of the admission year (Upper age limit: 35 years).
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to perform clinical duties.
